A Message from OSA's Chapter and Student Services Manager

OSA Student Chapters have reached 95 in number and there are more in the formation stages as of this writing.  The excitement from the student members has been a shot in the arm to the student chapter program and many exciting things are taking place with them.

This fall, at the 90 th OSA Annual Meeting, student chapter leaders attending the leadership meeting will be able to take part in a Hands-On Optics (HOO) training opportunity.  Chapter leaders who have reserved their places will be provided and trained on the hands-on, inquiry-based activities and materials for use in the chapters' new or current outreach activities.
